Awesome movie...its outlook on personal perceptions, introspection, and questioning peoples role in government (responsibility etc) are as resonant today as they would have been centuries ago. I hope high schools show this movie to their students to open up a dialogue about goverment and personal responsibilities.

I walked out of that movie really excited that some of the feelings I hold toward goverments being shared and presented in such a powerful way. I was amazed...

I enjoyed this film, and came out of the theatre moved in a way i hadn't really felt from a film before.
there was an underlying theme that no matter how opressive an institution became, there was always an undercurrent for freedom and justice.
i'd like to see this movie again to truly digest the entire story. i felt in the theater i was missing half the story and needed to watch it again to really grasp everything that happened.

am i the only one who sees the US moving toward the state of affairs that led to the subject of this movie?
The scene where V explains to the inspector how the leader came to power and used fear and patriotism against the people to make them submissive is very similar to what i see happening here at this time.
i hope that the fearmongers don't get enough of a hold, but my faith in the intrinsic good of Americans is shaken by the hate, lies, and divisive politics i see on the net.
