Well, honestly it comes from the story of Tzalaran that i'm in the process of writing. (Rue and Sticky, along with a few others, would remember it from the AD&D campaign world i made for them to adventure in, and helped inspire the story...) The Horned Devil is the name of a tavern in Karat-Sizan, the city Tzalaran lives in. Karat-Sizan is the most populous city in the world, a large natural port on the Kirak Sea. Its mild weather and deep harbor make it an attractive city in which to live. Tzalaran is employed at the The Devil, providing security help and acting as a skulk for the owner in the pit. The Devil's claim to fame is the large stone shaft leading into the protective maze of the ancient ruin of Karzun Karlaz. Sailors and gamblers, along with the youth of the city, come to the pit to prove their strength, competing and wagering on survival in the depths of the pit. That is the short explanation, and as i get more of the story written i will post it in the workshop section so that you can understand why i call 'The Devil' my home.

Hmmm.... ???I thought it had more to do with your resemblance to the "goat devil" I guess that phase has passed... oh well.

>) Hey Tz: This is a bit off topic: You used to play Advanced Dungeons and Dragons...Believe it was the 1st or 2nd Edition...have you played since then? ? i played both 1st and 2nd editions... prefer the players option ruleset that came out late in the life of 2nd edition... i refused to get into 3rd edition because i hate wizards of the coast. to me, they completely ruined gaming, turning all my hardcore miniature wargamming buddies into card players. I refuse to have anything to do with a product they produce.
