You've GOT to be kidding me. Meanwhile suicide bombers in Iraq are emboldened and stepping it up because they know we are pulling out and they view us as weak. Biden and Obama will want to sit down and play nice over a cup of tea while the terrorists behead them. It's not enough to scare them with Hillary's mug. You can't negotiate with these guys!

you can't defeat ideology with military force, unless you are willing to commit genocide. the american people are not willing to go to that extreme, so negotiations are the only avenue left.
people like you will never understand that these people don't hate us for our freedoms, or our way of life. they hate us because we have brought death and destruction to their daily lives in levels they haven't seen before.
The only way you can win this type of conflict, and the war on terror in general, is to show these people a better way of life. you build roads, schools, hospitals, infrastructure for a modern life, and provide security so that they are not fearing for the family member that will be killed in the next 48 hours. you invest in their future to turn them away from the radical religious ideology that dominates their lives, and display the benefits of joining a society based on the principles of individual liberty that will provide for the public good.
until you understand the reality of the situation instead of the ideological arguments, your solutions will never work, and that is why the Bush administration failed in the war on terror... they didn't understand the stakes, and thought you could fight a cold war with terrorists who will kill themselves to take out groups of you.
We would not be in this situation if Cheney hadn't been so adamant about invading Iraq to pad Haliburton's bank account...
