i'm working on the prequel to Assassin for NaNoWriMo2012. i'm a bit behind on the goal, but i knocked out 4k words today and got the whole thing moving again. Where the first book was Tzal having a name in the city already, and becomign more than just an assassin, Fugitive will be the story of him running from the Zarachtil Tzolanzen and coming to Karat-Si'Zan and making a name for himself. climbing the ladder so to speak.
I'm changing a lot of things about how tzal interacts and deals with others in order to make him less... protypical good guy. trying to push the anti-hero into a level of almost don't want to root for the guy, but the bad guys are worse. anyway, hadn't posted about this here (mostly updating progress on my blog) and figured i should.
